Hey, I'll send you guys who emailed me for more info later but the guy who sells the DVD's isn't a scam. I have never purchased his training DVD but if you visit the guys website, he offers a free mini course. The course doesn't give alot of specifics but you can usually figure out what he is talking about.

My aerial business comes from my entrepreneurial spirit and having flown with a lot of aerial photographers while working as a scenic pilot. I asked a lot of questions and came up with my own plan of attack. I have since angled myself towards one specific type of aerial photography.

We had a perfect example here last week of how useful aerial photographers can be. in a nearby resort area, there was a propane leak overnight and several explosions, flattening a couple buildings including a century-old store and killed a couple people, injuring several more. An aerial photo was the only way to get a full look at the destroyed area. I know there are some aerials taken of the area in the daylight, we aired a shot on our tv news. And I'm sure there will be lawsuits and insurance wrangling not to mention the property owners...they'll need good aerials!

Not to make light of the devastation in this area and loss of life, but it would have been a fairly easy assignment for an aerial photographer.

Navigator, what type of photography do you specialize in?
