that's about as "gay" as if the thread had started out..."i was sitting in a bar telling this guy how i'm captin and fly a 340 and he asked if he could decorate my bedroom later that night..."

OK, maybe it's not quite that gay...but i had a young person come to my airport about a two weeks ago, and he told be he was Cpt. So and So, flying this 172 for XYZ company...honest to god i didn't mean to but i started laughing...you situation is somewhere inbetween 172 gay and bar gay...

OK, let me see if I get this straight, in a 172 or a 340, a captain is gay, if you are retired and call yourself captain you are gay, if you have a penis in your mouth you are gay, unless you are female.

Now would it be gay for a female to call herself captain if she was flying left seat in a 340? or a 172?

If so, then please just call me Admiral (Ret).

In some third world countries like India, anyone with a commercial license calls themselves Capt, no matter what they are doing, or if they even have a freaking job for that matter.
