Nobody mentioned Island Air.

Flying Dash 8's in Hawaii and home in HNL every night. I upgraded in less than a year when I was there, but nowadays, it's running around 2 years or so.

If Aloha or Hawaiian are hiring, the bulk of the pilots come from Island Air, so the movement is there as long as one of those two is hiring.

Whats a quick upgrade for a regional considered? two years?

2 years would be ideal but very unlikely unless you're at a place where there's a lot of attrition. This is not necessarily a great thing and likely indicative of the type of equipment and QOL. Most of the turboprop operators will have quicker upgrade times as well. Expect something closer to 4+ years at most regionals. Keep in mind though that there are a lot of guys who are eligible for upgrade but refuse it for a variety of reasons. Personal, bases, reserve (again), equipment, etc.
