I am in the process of converting my logbooks from paper to computer.

I know that Simulator time is not considered part of your Total Time, so I am in the process of re-stating my Sim Time (and Total Time) now. However, I do not know if Sim Time is considered Dual Recieved?

What do you think? Should I keep sim time as dual recieved or take it out of the logbook?

Thanks,

Sim time

You probably have to count the instruction received in the sim as sim time only. I believe that you can receive dual instruction only in an aircraft.

Hope that helps a little.

If you are talking about an airline simulator for your training, you probably cannot log it as dual. You could if the instructor was a cfi and he signed your log for you, but airline instructors are not required to be cfi's, and I have never met one who was willing to sign a logbook. Just log it as sim time, or not at all. It's pretty much useless anyway. Hope this helps.
