Is NJI interviewing yet? (NOT NJA)

Any information from the insiders as to whether NJI have started interviewing? I understand they put the names of those to be interviewed on the company web site. I have been told that they are looking to hire 60 pilots this year! I know what they require, its just that I am getting a little impatient!!! Has anyone been called for interviews in the upcoming week or months?

Thank you

Just so you're clear, NJA and NJI = NetJets. When you say "Not NetJets" you are excluding both NJI and NJA, since they make up the majority of NetJets.

Nevermind if your intent was to try to relight the single carrier debate.

My intention is not to spark a debate but to differentiate between the two companies as I notice in the past threads change their focus.

Your NJI/NJA terminology is quite correct. To answer your question, NJI is hiring. I think 40 pilots per year for the next two years is the guess, depending on the market, of course. Keep trying, it is definitely worth the wait!!
I wouldn't join NJA on a bet, but NJI is a superb company. Why they hired me is a mystery. :)

Have been called for an interview first week in April. Do not know much about them other than fractional carrier and fly corporate a/c.Any good words out there?

His terminology was corrected in an edit yesterday. It was incorrect and confusing prior to the edit.

The way it was worded before his edit was like saying, "I want to work in Atlanta (Not Georgia)."

Now that we got the linguistics straightened out, any chance some NJI warrier out there could enlighten us about QOL, compensation, typical tour etc. at NJI?

Give us the works!

NJI Family

There is no typical tour. Each tour is unique. Quality of life is what each of us makes of it. If you are wondering about the time on the road. I have no complaints.

The pay is an individual matter.

There are some excellent, accurate posts by "GVFlyer" on the history and management team at NJI.

I am a second generation aviator, I think I bonded to a plane before my mother.
:).

It has been 30 years of employment in this industry now and I have an observation. I have made more money at times and I have made less. When I look at this organization as I whole this is the best company I have worked for. I have a life and my family has me. The NJI management team has the company family and the personal family in mind. We are supported!!

I am thankful everyday. My family is thankful. I don't know of anyone here that is not, if so they leave and then some came back.

If you have not worked a bad job, you won't appreciate a good job.

NJI is a career not just a JOB!

Best to all!!

WHy is everyone from NJI so opposed to voicing/publishing salaries? When you say individual matter does that mean "negotiated" at time of hire?

Nji

My experience all of my life in every job has been that my salary is my business and that of my boss. It does not matter to anyone else. If I was not happy with the pay or other aspects I left. I am sure that there are many others with the same life experiences that shape their insights which are the basis for their learning and what you perceive as behavior. Its personal ..................

I agree about the compensation. If a guy believes it's personal...it's personal. We can debate that point elsewhere. I'm still interested in where you go, how long you stay, where can you live, any surprises and so on.

Thanks,

It's absolutely amazing how ANY thread turns into this kind of response.
What a sad way to live your life.
Someone asked about NJI because they are interested in it and the next thing he'll learn is that the pilot lounge at the Embassy Suites was brought by the union. Wow. Thankgod for that.
And thank you for the beautiful language in that too. It really makes us all look like real professionals, doesn't it?

You don't work for NJI so please refrain from answering NJI related question unless it's really productive.

Welcome to flightinfo. Maybe in post 2 you can explain to us the wonders of the world.
