Don't have a fit, fella. I was simply stating this as it is a surprize that FJ management is continuing to allow this situation to go on. You might need to give yourself a hand in order to relax a little. Don't forget the complimentary hand lotion.:uzi:CapnVegetto said:What the hell do you care? If the #1 guy at Delta or whatever wants to quit to go fly a dam-n 1900 at Great Lakes, that's his business and his decision. STFU and mind you own dam-n affairs.
Flex management has known this was comming for years, in fact they created this mess by telling folks that worked there "don't you worry whatever happpens over at NJA we will take care of you". They knew then that they were not going to do any such thing and now the day of reckoning for that policy is here. Remember Flex is run by former commuter airline guys and commuter airlines and long term employees are not generally used in the same sentence unless the words do not have are between them. In my opinion I belive that Flex management belives that pilots are like engines... run em out and replace em.nipper said:Don't have a fit, fella. Maybe when the company gets sold off things will improve. What's the writing on the wall say about that?Necromonger said:Yes.
He is still here now. But will be leaving soon. A 7 year Flex guy. Good Capt. in the 60.. He will be missed.
The writing's on the wall. Take the time to read it.

gipper6 said:Midnightflyer you're a total moron and have no credibility. The 7 year FlexJet Captain has more balls than anyone on this forum. Truth is, we need more guys like him to take a stand against this historic aviation backslide, send a shot across the bow of management and let them know how we feel. Midnightflyer - your're a simple coward who hides in the shadows of those with tremendous courage. I'm sure you'd be happy to take any improvements to your miserable life by those who put it all on the line to help raise the bar. The old addage "It takes one to know one" rings quite true in this regard. The FlexJet guy has balls and you don't.
Money ain't all it's cracked up to be especially if you have to give 20% more time to the company to get it and pay big money for your health care. As for the 400 there was no one in my Dec indoc class in the 400 and only 2 in the ultra and they were hired before ratification. Lots of folks going to larger aircraft now.ArtVandalay said:He must have left for pure QOL issues because he will never make up the money he is losing over the next few years.

You can more than make up that money by moving to Columbus and becoming an Assistant Chief Pilot. Many have done so in less than a year. Maybe he has been told he has a shot at a management job.
There are not so many of us with 7+ yrs of fractional Experience.
I think a guy with 7 yrs fractional experience could do it easliy....FLYLOW22 said:Mmmmmmmm. Not from what I hear. Those guys were just offered Reverve pay for their year and pay class plus 2 extended days. Hell, they can make that on the road.
Maybe if they were looking at the ACP money from the standpoint of getting a quick upgrade to act as an ACP rather than flying as F/O for a few years until normal upgrade.
I think that would be dang hard to be a new NJA pilot and suddenly be an effective ACP. Few, if any, can do it and be a good ACP.
NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Have you heard the term "daily rate"?miles otoole said:I'm sure the 4 year WN guys I still talk to who who left for UAL and DAL are proud of their decision. Didn't Flex have a higher payscale than NJ for the past 4-5 years?
