I interviewed with them back in Feb-Mar of this year and they mentioned they were planning on CVG as a pilot base around August. Anybody have any insight as to whether this is still going to happen and when?

Initially it was supposed to start by late June to early July (right around now) but it has now been pushed back until August to September. The resaon is that they are ironing out DOT problems. Perhaps route approvals? Aren't they using Mesa's old 1900's? Maybe that is the hold up, getting them on certificate.

I really have no clue about the inner-workings of the company. I just had an interview with them and all they told me was August as a ballpark time frame for opening up CVG. Did I see on here that the supposed contract that would decrease Captain's pay was shot down? Does that mean that the payscale on PilotCentral.com would be in effect?

The 1900's are coming fron CommutAir. A buddy of mine their said that they were giving up their first 1900 to Big Sky this month or early next.
