Its funny now that ACA has airbuses they're now in the "Major" airline forum. A week ago half of you never heard of or gave a $h i t about them. Now you've all got a bonner over them just cause they ordered some "big boy" airplanes.

I'll go back to the "little boys" room now.

pissin in my diapers

Sorry I only speak the truth about a factual observation.

Last week ACA pilots now Indy were a bunch of "regional" airline pilots not even worthy of your time, now in a few days they have all upgraded to major or "real" airline pilots and now you are all in a tissy about working there. Pretty sad really.

Fact is not a single person in this forum used to care about ACA only a few days ago. Sorry if the truth hurts.

It makes perfect sense

The companies discussed in this "Majors" forum are not strictly majors by the profit yardstick. However, folks here are aspiring to the "top" of the profession and that ususally implies flying bigger and bigger equipment. That's why you'll see names like Emirates, Evergreen, and others bandied about even though they aren't technically majors. If Branson announced tomorrow that he was starting a boutique carrier with a total of 14 Airbuses/Boeings flying 500 mile legs, it would be discussed here for sure. Even though said carrier hasn't even made a penny yet. So, you see, it makes perfect sense that if a company like ACA gets larger aircraft, it will generate interest on this board.

ACA won't be a major until the produce the revenue to qualify as a major.

ACA might be discussed in the major forum, but is still a regional.

I for one wouldn't leave my job to come to ACA. Nothing against the company or pilots, but why start over at the bottom to fly the same airplane? That plus is basically a start up airline with many unknowns. How long do you think it would take to hold A320 CA?

Maybe it would be a good idea to make a poll to see how many people would actually leave just because ACA/Indy has, or will be getting A320's.

Please no more POLLS!!!!!!!

It is interesring, we at AAI have not m ade (as of yet) 1Billion in 12 mo and we are always on the Major board. CMR ASA each do over 1 Billion and are mostly on the Regeonal board. Things that make ya go WTFO?

Pilots, Gods proof he has a sense of humor. Airline managment, proof he makes mistakes.
