Pay during training is 60 hours times the regular 1st year FO wage. Accomodations are entirely up to you. As for growth, I've heard that half the J41s are going away by the end of the year, but I would imagine most of the growth will be going to a certain other carrier who we all love to hate.

A friend of mine interviewed a couple months ago and was passed up because he asked the question. They know they are acting in bad faith and are sensitive about it. Those bad consciences are a hell of a thing.

I would go a step further and advise not saying a word about GoJet from the time you interview until you're off probation. Especially while you're in training, since the GoJet offices are in the same building as the TSA training classrooms.

IMHO, if they bring it up that'd be slightly different, just be sure you're very, very polite when you tell them you'd rather go to TSA.

I doubt they'd bring it up, they didn't in mine.

They won't bring it up. That's not how they operate. If they decide to send you to GoJet, you probably won't know until you see the GOM they give you has Trans States crossed out and Go Jet written in its place!!

What evidence do you have that this was the reason he was passed up? His perception of their response to the question, or do you have an "in" over at HR/know an interviewer who told you?

IF you got called to interview at TSA then it will be a TSA interview. If you got called for GoJet then it will be a GoJet interview. TSA doesn't not interview for GoJet and GoJet does not interview for TSA.

ASA does not interview for ComAir, and ComAir does not interview ASA. They are owned by the same holding company, but....

JackFlyer is right, whether you like him or not. I hear they've got a stack of resumes a mile high, so unless you've got previous 121 experience or a lot of time, don't worry about a GoJet interview.

Do what you can to get hired somewhere else, but if you do get hired by Trans States you will work with a great group of pilots and you can keep looking for a better regional until you are too senior (close to upgrade versus starting out at the bottom somewhere else) to do a lateral move. But whatever you do, please strongly consider the ramifications/ consequences to your future career (and to the profession itself) before taking a position with GoJet if that is all that is offered. hmmm... Thats weird, Ill bet money they dont have any resumes... my jackass Eagle buddy who was supposed to be in the second class got a call and they told him that the class is postponed for the 3rd time and they didnt know WHEN or IF it was actually gonna go. So he has decided not to take the job. (Now he is my friend again) This im sure has something to do with the negotiations going on between ALPA (Duane Woerth) and Trans states. Draw your own conclusions. But I think Trans States pilots will be flying them before long.
