Anyone know of how to contact companies that fly out of the U.S. to international cities. I was trying to research companies like BMW and Ford but can't seem to find the flight departments for them. Any ideas on other companies to try for. Thanks for the info in advance

Be a little more specific - what are you looking for exactly? Are you looking for a full time job? Contract work? What areas? PIC/SIC positions, or either? The only thing that comes to mind immediately is a car company, who runs several shuttles out of PTK to various cities in the Midwest(Jetstream), a couple of cities in Canada(Saab 340), and Luxemborg(A319).

confusing post...

sven - what are you looking for? a ride somewhere???

BMW flight department is european, even if their GV is N513MW.

Try these two, they fly a lot internationally:

Fllet of CL800s, a BBJ and G-IVs...

Hey thanks a bunch for the info. I am currently a Capt on a CRJ for a 121 carrier but would like to fly for a company that does some international flying. I keep seeing some GV and Globals in the Customs area and after checking out the tail numbers saw that they are from companies like BMW Rolls and Ford. Therefore I am trying to apply to some of these companies and get an idea of what options are out there. I really appreciate all the help from you all, thanks.

Get a NBAA directory.

Look at companies with GIV/GV/Globals.

You can bet with 10-13hr airplanes they doing some Intl' flying!!

Good Luck!

PS - when sending resumes etc...downplay the airline experience and talk up any previous Intl experience and education!
