I submit there are pilots who enjoy instructing and would not leave it or would return to it if they were treated with consideration and paid well.

I loved flight instructing. If I thought I could get an A and B plan, decent salary, full medical coverage and 15 days off a month, I'd be all over it.

The money at IFTA was very good. You won't get the fifteen days off and I don't know about the other benies. Otherwise, you might check it out.

pay?

Just out of general curiosity.....anyone know what's the top pay at IFTA and number of years to get there? Something I should have asked during interview.

IFTA is in Bakersfield. It is ANA's training company.

IASCO is in NAPA. It is JAL's training company.

If no one on here has info for you,( I worked at IFTA), try ilsapproach.com and ask the same question.
