Ok. Having an over 40 moment here. Starting to study for interviews and I see this question and I can't find an answer in the Jepperson introduction section to charts or in the AIM.

Question is what does "conditional" mean next to MDA. If one of you fine folks could help me out, I would appreciate it.

Conditonal DH or MDAs are there when a condition might exist that would require a higher number. Example: ILS 4R in BOS.. 200 conditional DH based on no tower report of tall vessels in the approach area. With vessels DH is 341..

here is another example: Being able to identify a fix on the approach conditional if you have the capability to identify another radial from a diff. VOR. Ex: NDB or GPS RWY 35R Denver, CO. MDA 6740 with R-213 from Falcon VOR, without R-213 from Falcon MDA is 6880. As published intersection of R-213 from Falcon and the final approach course is a stepdown fix.
