I am planning on riding jumpseat on Delta to Athens from Atlanta.1. Can I pay the taxes both ways in ATL?
2. Is my full up uniform okay? Hat, jacket. 3. Can more than one guy ride jumpseat? (in the back I know) Any advice would be great. Thanks Delta in advance for the ride!

Jumpseat to Athens

Hi,

I guess you can fly in uniform-but I wouldn't. Business attire is fine. I recently JS:ed to Europe with my spouse,we're both dispatchers.

Delta takes multiple JS:ers. Since it's overseas, you don't get to sit in the actual anyway. You pay taxes here in ATL, and keep the receipt for the return. We paid no taxes from the US but back from Europe.

Do not forget to be at the gate at least 75 minutes before departure and know that "JS-ing" is an american thing. Airline staff in Europe are not always up to speed, but usually very helpful (that's my experience, anyway).

Delta is a great airline to JS on, good luck and enjoy Athens!
