Looking to "jumpseat" on United to Mexico next week. Does anyone know how the taxes are paid for this? Does the United gate agent charge me or do I have to go to the ticket counter and pay there?

Thanks for any help

Normally you will not be able to get to the gate in international airports without a ticket. Usually start at the counter, allow plenty of time and expect to pay about $40.00.
I also recommend being in uniform as that often helps go smoother in a foreign country.
