Just thought some of my dispatch friends out here would find the METARS interesting as the EYE of Ernesto works its way up the coast of Florida...

notice the opposing wind direction and barometic differences between MCO and MLB...Pretty cool...

The less intense version of this in the midwest can be flown through (intense low pressure system), and you can pick the side of it that gives you the favorable winds and really pick up some ground speed. PRetty cool to experience if you're into observing weather phenomena.
