Some dude puts a picture of an FBO chick as his avatar and you guys get all pu$$y whipped over a poser. I don't know what's worse, whimps that just get pu$$y whipped in general or the ones that carry it to new heights by getting whipped over a picture posted by an unkown.

Dude I am not. Poser I am not.....believe what you will though.... It's your choice!

Get in your little ac-u-kwik, and call me...what would be the point of someguy doing that in the first place?????

Geezz.....spoil a little fun for some pilots....

You know, BTW for everyone...I am here to post and be heard, and discuss things....

And if I need too...I will change my Avatar....

Me thinks Mr/Ms Joey Jet might be bored and playing games.

the same. I am NOT accusing YOU of being a poser. Just laughing at the little puppy dogs wagging their tails and panting. Whether or not you are this or that is not an issue to me...just post something interesting and we'll all read it and maybe even reply.

Later.

I'm laughing so hard I just soiled myself!

That's still germane to this thread, isn't it?

Ahh, that's just because so many male pilots have g/fs and wives who aren't as into flying as they are, and wish they were.

The male/female ratio in this business is so high, that women can pretty much take their pick, if they're interested in a pilot at all that is.

The only downside is that they have to put up with a lot of crap. In talking to my own CFI (who is female), she complains that the guys are always making sexist comments, drives her nuts. My reply to her is, "what the heck did you expect? this is a man's world, and while it'll change at some point in the future, that time is decades off."

She's going to get a really big surprise the first time she goes flying as a F/O with a senior captain who is old school. I can't imagine the crap that woman pilots have to put up with working for the majors...

That is entirely possible... It happens more often than I think most guys realize...

In any case, that one should be easy enough to find out, just drop by that FBO and ask her. :D

When I worked for Delta Airlines a few years ago this was quite evident on more than a few occasions.... I do not envy them being a female and having to fly with some old school guy who may be just a "tad" bitter, no joy.:D

WrightAvia,

Nice avatar. I almost pi$$ed myself laughing at that idiot. That's not you is it? ;-)

Hey Lear2460,

Leave the avitar, Very nice pic, nothing like a beautiful woman sitting in a beautiful airplane. My first instructor was a woman and I have always enjoyed flying with women. It is nice to be able to enjoy a females point of view on things while flying. I have known many women in aviation and I agree that you all have to deal with a lot of crap that you really shouldn't have to deal with, but hey that is the way it goes right. BTW you wouldn't be single would you? If you would like to jumpseat sometime let me know, I can give you a really fun ride in my Shorts..

Ok OK OK sorry I had to, when you fly the shorts you have to at least have a little fun with the name, I mean it is not like you are flying a sexy airplane or anything, we try to do the best we can with what we have to work with. Just kiddin, anyway, I liked your pic, you are a really pretty girl. So are you single?

Single or not - I don't have a pair of Shorts, but I got a good pair of slacks - I can give you a better ride in my slacks than the guy in his shorts.

Gentlemen, all jokes aside – this thread needs to be book-marked & referenced in your next “women are favored over men in aviation” OR “women pilots are privileged in ways men pilots aren’t” arguments. How many of you “madly in love” would give her preferential treatment over some male pilot five-times her experience because of your “I’d like to get me some of that” attitude? What you may not yet realize is that if she takes you up in your Shorts ride offer – it won’t be because of your charms, pal. NO FLAME, JUST AN OBSERVATION.

If I take him up on the offer, it will be for a ride in that a/c...not as sexy as a Lear, but worth the trip :)

I am still HOPING some nice pilot in a Lear 35 or smaller series will offer me a ride........but since they suck up so much fuel, I just have not gotten it yet.....I did manage a ride however in a CL-41G out to St.Louis, but then had to FIND a way home, as they were not coming back.....but hey, I was NOT going to pass that one up!

I will ride jumpseat anyday.....

Texas Aviator you better thank god I was not there with you because I would have had a word or two with that chic. I tend to be a little outspoken when that stuff happens.

And how the heck did this thread go from poopy diaper, to a hot women flying? It’s hard enough to keep up with any subject on this board.. but harder yet with a hangover looming over my head this morning.

Remember: Guinness means Genius in Gaelic. Right FlyChicaga 

Honey, as long as you do the sucking , there are plenty of some very nice pilots out there w/ both the bigger & the smaller series. Got ditched in St. Louis? What’s like to be on the receiving end? …jumpseat anyday? – I bet you will. I did mention it was just an observation of how some can’t see passed someone else’s looks (gender/race) & this often results in under qualified (aka inexperienced) minorities getting hired while their qualified white (& angry) male counterparts are shown the door. (Disclaimer: I didn’t say “always” – I said “often” giving credit where it’s due.) This thread (among others you’ve participated in) is a case in point – look at all the drooling. Getting smart in response? – grow some skin. If you don’t think my comments dignify a response – then why respond at all?
