The picnic area of the In-and-Out northeast of LAX is usually filled with people taking pictures. Lots of close-ups of planes on short final for 24R. Don't go there for lunch in your uniform or they'll pester you with questions.

When I get home from my globetrotting I look up my airline on airliner.net, most of the time there I am in some God forsaken part of the world. The pictures get on the net before I get home. I was taxing out at EDDN the other day and a guys was taking a picture from a tree at the end of the runway. Amazing, I thought that the stands were deer stands, no they are photo stands.
