I've noticed something very unprofessional about Ted employees since their arrival on concourse A in Denver. United (TED) employees in the food court resturants cut infront of people to get their food. They just walk to the head of the line and don't even excuse themselves. Maybe they did that on Concourse B, but on A it relects bad on all the airlines. The look on the customers waiting ten minutes in line confirmed it. When the latest employee (an agent) was confronted by the person behind her, a small scurmish broke out. I couldn't stick around to watch, but was left with the same feeling other people probably felt...
'TED is not considerate of others'.

Stands to reason...

What else would you expect from Theodore Kaczynski's flagship? You don't really think TED was an attempt to create another low cost carrier do you? EVERYONE already has those...

TED is the new carrier for the anti-social, anti-technology, anti-social order crowd who would prefer a small cabin on the edge of civilization, but due to the requirements of serving the evil money grubbing masses must occassionally be forced into air travel.

What you saw was actually an HR workshop in progress on proper etiquette for the new FAs. Training on grabbing up cellphones, PDAs, and laptops and crushing them in front of startled passengers is scheduled to begin in April.

Yeah...its a stupid post...but TED is a really stupid name...

That is interesting - I've eaten at every airport food joint across the country including Concourse A in Denver yesterday morning (on my way to Cali for my other job) and have never seen any airline employee cut in line for food. I've probably eaten at McDonald's, Pizza Hut, and all the other food places on Concourse B at DIA at least 200 times I'm sorry to say - and never saw anybody cut in line. However, it does not surprise me that you have gone out of your way to find something new to blast United about.

My only Ted complaint is that on February 12th the lines for food in Concourse A trebled in length. As of yet no signs of increased staffing on the part of the vendors. Coincidentally our banks got compressed a bit, so now it can be a challenge grabbing a sandwich during the day. I've written my congressman, were hoping for the creation of a presidential blue-ribbon commission to look into this problem.

I've heard that the TED employees have been pulling people out of the concourse A bathroom stalls mid-sh#t because they just didn't want to wait any longer. I've seen more than one unhappy customer fall to the piss-stained floor with his pants around his knees all because a prima-donna TED employee just couldn't wait his turn...

And you know what Crashpad, I didn't hear them excuse themselves either!! I mean who do those TED people think they are with their new paint job and fancy buttons? Just because you operate a single fleet type and have a quirky marketing campaign doesn't mean you're better than everybody else. It reflects poorly on the polite, worldly Frontier employees who are trying to make DIA a decent place to work. Needless to say I was speechless!

God forbid an airline pilot has one airport privilege. If people want their flights on time we should go to the front of security and the burger hut. We should also be polite though.

Agreed, but gate agents should never, ever cut in front of pax. Pax are not stupid, they understand that the pilots must make the flight just as the pax do, they also understand that agents are just being selfish. If Ted employees (non-flight crew) are indeed being this rude, it will come back to haunt them.

Did you mean tripled?

trebled

Treble \Tre"ble\, v. t. [imp. & p. p. Trebled; p. pr. & vb. n. Trebling.] 1. To make thrice as much; to make threefold. ``Love trebled life.'' --Tennyson.

tr. & intr.v. treb·led, treb·ling, treb·les
To make or become triple.

I guess not!

Why didn't you just say tripled? Easier for simpletons like me to understand!

Thanks for the vocab update! I learn new stuff every day on here.

TED

I am extremely disappointed by the bashing of TED or any other airline. Its unprofessional and the acusations are completely untrue. The united employee group are true professionals which I know first hand. If you read the financials and details of what TED is trying to accomplish. So I think a good word of advise is lets use these message boards for more productive and proactive things like trying to help your fellow pilots with job networking, etc. Any posts that bash people and airlines are nothing but worthless and waste of time that could be better spent. Thank you for listening
