Job Description:
Doss Aviation’s Initial Flight Screening, under contract with the United States Air Force is looking for qualified Certified Flight Instructors. Doss houses, feeds, educates, and provides flight training/screening to 1300 to 1700 United States Air Force Officer pilot candidates a year. Complete with our own 195 room in-house lodging for students, full service dining facility, fitness center, store, barber shop, etc., our state-of-the-art facility is a mini Air Force base under one roof! Pay is approximately $64k for a 40 hour work week plus benefits. Fringe benefits include medical, life, dental, 401K plan, paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave. The positions will be located at 1 William White Blvd, Pueblo Memorial Airport Industrial Park, Pueblo, CO 81001.
Instructs and measures training progress of student pilots. Conducts student briefings and debriefings. Keeps student records, monitors student progress, and counsels students.
Minimum Requirements:
Certified Flight Instructors must have a minimum two years of CFI experience, or have logged a minimum of 100 hours as a Flight Instructor. Experience as a military flight instructor fulfills this requirement. Pilot time in the Diamond DA20 is not mandatory. Every new-instructor pilot will be thoroughly trained by our highly qualified Doss instructors.
