Info on seniority merger agreements

Can someone supply me with any links to merger agreements?
My airline is in the progress of a possible merger, and as a union rep, I would appreciate any inputs.

The USAirways pilot's union ran a series of articles on various mergers during the United deal. They were published in about three different Airwaves editions. If you can get a hold of somebody in the union there they may be able to supply you with copies.

If your union is ALPA most of the information you seek should be in its archives. As a union rep it might be available to you. Search their website. However, don't be surprised if that kind of info is tucked away in the "top secret" category. Unless you "know the right people" gaining access to it might be akin to pulling teeth.

Haven't you talked to your union lawyers? That's what they're for. Every merger is different based on different circumstances.

I am presently working for a European carrier (Maersk-air). Used to fly for Comair in the nineties. Our union is not ALPA. We have our own in-house union, although a member of European cockpit Accosiation ECA. Europe is quite frankly pretty inexperienced with mergers compared to The States.

Just trying to get all angles on this.
