For the sake of not having a post with multiple pages, I figured I would start a new post to ask questions about insurance.

What are the different insurance co. that are available? I have heard of Avemco, and also thought about going through AOPA. Any suggestions and things to be aware of?

As you can tell I am a newbie at this. Oh, by the way, I think he is going to stay away from the King Air for now. Maybe in a yr or two.

Thanks for all the great info in the first post!!

For this type of aircraft you will probably want to use an insurance broker to negotiate the best rates for you.

AOPA has a limited brokerage service and can give you stndard quotes by phone.
