Hey I was wondering if anyone has attended any 10 day inst. schools? I was looking at this one is MN called "on his wings flight academy". I would appreciate any info you would have for me!

my opinion

do not do it they will teach you the rating and thats all . I was not even close to proficient . But thats my opinion Chas

i did a ten day course in Lubbock about 10 years ago.

i think it's the way to do it, but go easy and don't kill yourself in your first 50 hours after getting the license

A friend of mine used to teach at one of those fast passed program school like the one you are refering to, what he told me several times is that pilots who go to through these programs are not the ones to go fly in IMC conditions nor should they with that type of training...a majority of the pilots that go to those type of school are ones that own planes that want to reduce insurance cost by holding an instrument rating.
