Inflight emergencies

Hey,

Well i think i am gonna do my project on CFIT's. If anyone has some possible reasons for theses or what can be done to train pilots to avoid them it would help. thanks

The worse inflight emergency is when a FA calls you at 0200 in the morning with a UTI and they need you to go with them to find a doctor and a drug store. That is worse than anything in the air.

Every time I get an engine out and do the feather thing in the level D caravan sim, I always get hosed with carrying too much altitude to the final....

In a C182 you can put in full flaps, full rudder, and full opposite aileron and develope a very nice control slip. Would that work in a Caravan?
