The other update is the Mike Pappas is no longer involved with the flightcrew systems and pacificairlinesystems. PAS was sold recently (after Mike's stroke) but it's still a good place to go.

Wherever you go, just make sure your training plane is airworthy, MEL or MMEL -equipped, and the DPEs don't have any qualms about getting in to them.

And how did your Citation training go? :)

With an excellent DPE as my co-pilot and instructor, the training went great. The training wasn't done in CRQ.

We even had four Feds jump out of their g-car in front of the plane as we finished the pre-flight and a dead battery as the start to the checkride. The Feds just wanted to harrass the Fed giving the ride and were on their way to put a condition notice on a half-rebuilt plane another Fed was working on.

The Price is Right

Previous poster has already mentioned it, but bears repeating. Get in touch with Stelios at Chrysler Aviation, VNY. He is quite a character (in a good way), and 6 or 7 years ago type ratings ran @ 4 grand. All training, including rating ride done in their Citation 500.
