Did Indy go with the paperless cockpit on the RJ yet?? I heard you would have jeppview or somthing like it installed. If you do could someone post a picture of it?? This sounds like a nice addition to have!

Thanks in advance-
Trip.

We're not paperless yet, but well on our way. Probably by next spring we'll be completely paperless but we won't be using Jepps anymore -- too expensive. I guess their going with NOS because it's half the price. The long pole in the tent of this project is designing a mounting bracket for the EFB in the CRJ. They want it to be like a swing arm so you can slide it out front of you on the approach and stow it when it's not being used. Designing and certifying something like this take time.

Thanks, sounds like your working in the right direction anyways. I think other airlines will buy the STC when the project is completed!!

NOS Charts

As far as I heard from the training departmen (not your best source of rumors). Is that the electronic version of the charts will be Jeppesen. What hardware we will be used I have no idea. The NOS charts are going to be the paper backups from what I heard. They will be sealed in plastic in the airplane. If we have a problem then we'll break the NOS charts out.
