You dont need a slot time for departures. That is only for arrivals. Also, I just got off the phone with the feds and there is no slot required on Saturday.

There are arrival slots needed for Thursday Friday and Sunday but not Saturday. (Go figure).

IND is by far the best place to go. I have never had much a delay getting out after the race.
 
start planning it now, you might be a little late for being close with the hotels and all
