I like to know if any instructors (or students) out there can share good incentives for students to stump their instructor. Something small and easy in order to get students to study things like regulations and such. Keep in mind that I am still a broke CFI so I can't afford too much.

Ideas, anybody?

you could give them a free hour of instruction (your time only). That will still generate revenue for the school and you still get the flight hours.

How about telling them that if they study and do well then they can get their PPL.

Thank You!!!

Huh??? What kind of question is this? If you have to give incentives to get your students motivated to do what it takes to get a license or rating then, IMHO, your students shouldn't be wasting [their parent's] money in the first place.

Student incentives

Paying the money for flight training and earning ratings to become (big-time) professional pilots (with all their prestige and to wear uniforms and get chicks/guys) should be sufficient incentive for your students.

If you need more incentives, noting that flying is interesting, fun, and something few people do should be another incentive.
