During this holiday season, sometimes we are rushed and think only of ourselves. Might I suggest the next time your the 20th car
in line trying to make it through a traffic light or the 8th person at the
checkout counter trying to get home for dinner on time, pause and think about the sacrifices our fine, young men and women are making overseas protecting us so we may enjoy a peaceful celebration with our loved ones at home.

I want them all to know how much we appreciate their fine efforts and wish them all a safe and swift return.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

That is a nice time to reflect. Thanks for the post Kathy.
Merry Chritsmas to you and family.
Patience is something I've been working on for years. I will continue, keeping our troops in mind.

Thanks Dave for the Christmas wish! Going upstairs to get the little sweetie in my avatar about of bed! :)

I'm sure there are plenty of Vets on this board that appreciate the sentiment a lot. I've spent more than a few Christmases, Thanksgivings, etc under several hundred feet of water on patrol. Though most of that time was during the Cold War, and once during Desert Storm, I can't imagine spending the holidays in a Combat Zone.

To those who are and have served, Many Thanks! And return home safe and secure.
