Freaking uniform people screwed my pant order all to high Hades and back, and I need some pants and I'm not going to pay their outlandish prices. So off to the mall I went, in search of pants. I was able to match the color and style pretty darn good with a pair of Docker's Pro Pant something or other, but in terms of finding my size, that was a debacle in itself. Four department stores, and my size nowhere in sight. So I go for the next size up... but the Pro Pant only comes in "Relaxed". SO, with the bigger size and the relaxed fit all in cahootz against me, I was floating in 'em. "Good morning ma'am, I'm the Balloon Man F/O, welcome aboard!"

So no pants for me.

If you're tall and skinny, forget it, you ain't finding pants anywhere. The market is targeting the demand for big-boy sizes, and deliberately left me out of loop! I demand government monetary compensation, emotional support groups--both at home and work, and uniform re-imbursement!

edit: This being flightinfo with its contingent of gunslingers, a disclaimer: The above is sarcastic in nature. (I still would like pants made in my size a little more often though... or at least easier to find.)

I hear ya man. 34/34 or 34/32 are all over the place, but finding a 32/34 in a style I like is quite a treasure hunt!

Or 31/30 and size M in anything. Gone.

I don't think they make sizes that small here though. Chicago is after all the second fattest city in America. I have to do my shopping in neighboring Iowa or Indiana where dem be corn-fed.

Talk about discrimination....I can't find long enough pants either! I wear a size 6, but all the legs are too short! I have to buy 8s and 10s and have the pants altered. Why should I have to pay extra just because I have long legs?

It's a conspiracy, I tell ya.

32/34...31/30??? What a bunch of skinny m0therfckers!! you guys must look like wiper blades from the side!

Im so jealous

I've been known to hide behind rope to go incognito.

The bad part is I have a big head, so essentially I look like a lollypop.

i love going shopping and finding like the 42 X 32 pants. what a country we live in.

34 x 34 all the way, baby.

ya,,, well try to find size 15 shoes. And then try to wedge them between the center console and the seat. Sigh.

Try Walmart.. The George brand has every size imaginalble to man, and they are less than 20 bucks, last 6 months to a year!

AMEN my large-and-in-charge brother!!

BTW, which of them has the best "uniform pants?" The brand I used to buy is no longer being made and I'm after a few replacements.

Well... For those interested, I have two pairs of Cintas pleated pants, navy, 32 waist, 41 outseam (about a 33 inseam). Ten bucks each. Brand spanking new.
