I know the Illinois Vetrans Grant pays for tuition and fees to Illinois colleges, to include flying fees. I have my PPL, and would like to pursue advanced ratings.

However, I already have my Bachelors Degree, and it seems like all of the schools I looked into (U of I, SIU) have aviation programs designed around taking just 3 hours of classes or so per semester. At that rate, it will take me years to get all my ratings.

Is there anyway I can use the Illinois Vetrans Grant to get my ratings, and focus full-time on flying, as opposed to three hours a semester?
