Hey JB, have you started class? Hope everything is working out well for ya!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I graditated in 1988 from the flying program there.
Now furloughed American, stay at home dad in
Chicagoland.
Hello everybody and hope your careers go better than
mine!
p.s. if I go to work for a regional and my wife stays home
with our two kids, I will be below the poverty level wages
and eligible for food stamps (and govt. cheese).
Well, the game sucked. My capt and I were able to scalp some tix to get in. We got the tickets cheap (lower level nonetheless)and were treated to an awesome first half. Unfortunately, Duke came out to play in the second half, the Illini didn't. But it was still fun to go to the game. Not bad for Bruce Webber's first season!
Glad to hear training is going well. Those turboprop systems aren't easy, I'll tell you that. MZ's got it easy, he's flying the line. Take care guys, Keep in touch.
I was wondering who you were feefong
Training is FING tough you are correct. but so far my head is staying barley above water. We are highering like crazy starting soon i think so keep getting that time in there and once I get through this crap I will be more than happy to help anyone i can. But i have to survive first.
Hello, fellow Illinois Pilots.
I graduated Institute of Aviation in '96. Started flying freight and haven't stopped yet. Currently flying a Heavy Airbus for a non-sched operation. Hope things are going well for you all. I lost touch with just about everyone after I left for the "real world". Sorry to hear about Rick passing away.
We hub out of DAY for Emery. You guys stay at the Fairfield don't you? When I get in from MEX or LAX I usually see a crew heading out about 4:30am or so.
Yeah, then those are your jets I've been seeing in DAY. I actually start my trip early tomorrow with a turn through there. We do stay at the FF Inn. Do you see our crews at the hotel? Those are standup crews... I avoid standups like the plague.
I do see you guys at the Fairfield Inn. That is if I stay downstairs long enough to eat breakfast. Usually after a long night sitting on my butt and looking at the stars I try and head to bed before the sun catches me out of my coffin.
Hello to fellow Illini!! I just found this post and wanted reply!!
I am an alumni Class of 1999!! I graduated the Institute in 1996. If anyone was from that time.... drop me a line!!
