IFR training

man, i talked to a pilot that does not have their IFR rating and has only taken a few lessons, yet flew IFR and got some actual. that takes balls. what happens if that person had to shoot an aproach to mins at such an early point in their IFR training? not smart.

Hopefully, the idiot didn't log the actual in his log book without an instructor signing beside him...secondly - yeah! Not smart. I recall my first time flying single pilot IFR and the plane iced up. I asked for an immediate vector back to my home airport...a C-172 is so not the place for that b.s. And I called myself a CFI at that time...what a goof I was! Even if the wx didn't call for icing that day!
