The analyst wrote that he no longer believes Northwest will wait for Pinnacle to reach a new contract with its own pilots before making a deal, "as Northwest is anxious to tie up this lose end to enable the carrier to exit bankruptcy early next year."

Without this club however will 9E management negotiate. Perhaps they don't wish to negotiate as this contract is about as low as the pilots can go?

The quote is in several newspaper articles as well. He states that once Pinnacle gets an agreement he'll raise the target price. This should bump the stock price even more and make those mgmt types in memphis that get stock options even happier.

He's just a little enthusiastic about the amount of blood 9E can squeeze from its turnips. Didn't see anything else that says otherwise in your article.

The only "blood" in Memphis will come from the management group at Pinnacle. They have seriously misjudged the pilots and it may well cost them a cash cow company in the long run.

Why should they be anydifferent than the rest of the red tail family. NWA and Mesaba both huffed and puffed but the big bad wolf conned them out of their house anyway. Only the FA's have said NO.

You see the forest thru the trees, oh enlightened one.

The big bad wolf does well in the woods...............two houses down, one to go.

The reason they can't knock our house down is becuase we can't affoard houses with our rates. Therefore there is nothing to knock down
