Skyking, you repeated an internet legend about Jane Fonda. Several of us tried to explain to you that by repeating this false story, you allow Fonda to say "see, this is a typical lie about me." Instead of gracefully admitting that you made an honest mistake, you reply with childish insults.

I agree with you, Jim. I am not trying to downplay the importance of truth in this matter. I am only passing something along that I recieved from a source I deemed to be reputable.

I wonder about the so -called "sources" that you use to present the opposing view.

I was not there, but I did go through USAF combat survival school, where several of the instructors, on more than one occasion, pointed out that the SSN incident in fact DID happen. And, oh by the way, this is a school that bases it's whole curriculum on debriefs and lessons learned by Vietnam POW's. By the way, they periodically have guest speakers come in that were there. If it weren't true, this school would not be saying it.
