now owns 100% of Flight Options...

Should the "former RTA" folks get their pensions back? Should ALL of the Flops folks now be eligible for all of the Raytheon benefits???

Should They?

Yes.....

We were told no to this. The reason was because we are a subsidary. Not sure what that has to do with it. I am just passing on what I was told by the head of HR.

Fat Chance of Seeing the Company Books or Getting The Bennies Back

Wow, wonder why Raytheon bought the remaining interest in FLOPS just after the vote was announced? Could it be to ensure that the books remain closed to the union. Short answer: yes. Raytheon will allege Flight Options is privately held; therefore the books are to remain closed.

Since RAC owned RTA I am sure that Mother Raytheon will play a legal shell game that precludes the return of the RAC retirement scheme.

Remember, RTA was a wholly owned subsidary of RAC with standard bennies for all. Will have to work hard to figure that out.

Union

When you vote the union in the company will NOT be impressed ! You will have to do something like what we did...the 6S pledge some of it wont apply though

1. Six figure salaries commensurate with appropriate seniority.
2. Secure Home Basing now, and for the future.
3. Schedules that balance your life; No 6&4.
4. Safety provisions to offset the continuous 14&10 duty cycle.
5. Scope "sell off" containment, and successor/merger pilot integration protections.
6. Single Carrier Status.

Was that before they owned us 100%?? That could be a factor.

Yep he was asked that very question. When they do own 100% will we get back the bennies. He said nope.
