I have done DEN-IDA fairly regularly over the last couple of years, and I can tell you it isn't impossible to make this commute, BUT... You won't be the only one doing it, there are a couple of SkyWesters and a United or two who you would be competing against, and the flights can be full. The bigger problem would be that since the flight is so short, the 200 is often weight-restricted when weather requires alternate fuel. The 200 comes up against a landing weight restriction pretty easily on flights less than about 2 hours, and I have seen it as bad as 45 passengers and no more, so you may come out to the airport expecting open seats and discover that they're asking for volunteers. JAC can be full in the on season, and the short runway there is a whole other set of issues when weather hits, be it RJ or mainline. I guess you won't know until you do it, I have seen people commute from tougher places and make it work.
