Whats up with these dingleberries wearing their pilot uniforms with company id's showing to another airline's job fair? Is it me or do you think that it is tacky?

"sexy time!!!, high five!!!"

I haven't done it yet, but I would think that some guys do not have great schedules and cut it pretty tight to get there jump-seating. Also, since 9/11 TSA with your overnight bag with liquids and all. it sucks! I'm not sure the uniform helps you or hinders you at times getting through security. Just my .02

The question I always ask is why ol' Kit can't help pilots out and have them at airport hotels. The two I went to were downtown ($30-$40 cab ride.)

I'd say 50% were commuting in and out the same day.

I understand if you have to commute in in uniform or just got off of a trip but cant these people set aside 5 minutes to atleast change their shirt. Im sorry it just looks plane cheesy to come to a job fair looking for a job in your uniform.

I was at a job fair the other day and saw this guy with his full uniform. I said,"You got some balls to come here in uniform." He promptly took off his stripes.

Our FOM clearly states when and where you may wear your uniform, and a job fair is not one............LOOOOOOSSSSSSSSEEEEEERRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

GET A LIFE, AT LEAST GET A SUIT

Yeah, there was a couple of morons in there full on uniforms at that Jetblue info seminar in Orlando last week. I simply changed into another shirt when I got off the plane, it was not that difficult.

Tell me these guys atleast took off the hat!! No wait, if you're gonna be an a$$ ya might as well go all out!!

Hi!

I can easily see attending in uniform. U have 1 day, so u jumpseat in and out. When I'm on the road I don't carry any dress clothes, so if I had minimum time to get to the job fair, I'd have the choice of either a pilot's uniform or jeans and a polo shirt.

I think everybody but me should wear a pilot uniform to a job fair, employed as a pilot or not.

If you know you were going to a job fair why not bring nicer clothes?? Great avatar BTW!!!

I saw 2 guys in their uniforms during a job interview, but then again I know a pilot wears his uniform to a grocery stores to pick up chicks. Loosers.

If I were you, I would worry more about grammar than what people wear to job interviews.
