Any reommendations for hotels,eats, and drinks?

Last June I visited Reykjavik and stayed at the CenterHotel Skjaldbried. It was a nice hotel, smack-drab in the middle of everything, and even has an attached restaurant that turns into a bar/nightclub.

One word of warning though, if you're not there to party, there is alot of street noise at night due to it's central location and the drinking habits of the native Icelanders. And yes, they like to drink!

Awesome. Had an exchange student that lived with us when I was in high school. Best set up ever. They are really blond all over.

Yeah, the women are great, but they're hip to the visiting americans. Be cool and you'll do okay. And be ready to party. I used to consider myself a professional and those people totally outclassed me.
