I found a checklist that instructors can use for BFRs a while back on the web-but I can't remember where I found it. Now I need one for ICCs. Any one have any ideas? Thanks
What you want is the Instrument PTS because that is what you are required to follow (61.57d). There is a chart in the front (or back I can't remember) that tells you which tasks you must complete.
I think you can download it free from the FAA but I don't remember the link.
AC 61-65 addresses BFR's and IPC's. Basically, the AC says 'a representative number of tasks to be determined by the examiner.' Says this for both. However, as the above post states, the checklist for the IPC is in the front of the Instrument PTS. It is only in the newest revision of the PTS. Apparently, the FAA has decided on the representative tasks since the AC was printed. I would be very wary of doing less than the PTS recommends. The bare minimums:
Holding
Precision approach
Partial panel nonprecision approach
Unusual attitudes
Part 61, 91, AIM review
Plates and charts
