A flight instructor asked me what I thought about the subject. A few of them were arguing. One of them had a student come back from a cross country and said going westbound with a headwind his IAS was higher than when he was eastbound with a tailwind. It has been a while since I though about things like that and I don't have any good ref. materials around...... what do you guys think...?
