I updated my logbook in July. I'm right there at 8700.

I didn't realize that's a whole year.

Did I tell you I'm planning a BBQ July 2005 to celebrate 20 years and (almost) 10,000 hours? Ok, it'll be more like 9300...but that's close enough.

You'll probably be pretty darn close too. We should just get together and have a blowout.

Any reason to get together, burn meat and swill beer, right?

...now there's a scary thought. Figuring two nights a week, 12 hours per overnight for my 8 years in airline flying add up to....almost 10,000 hours!?! Crap, over a year in hotels.

17+ days a month in a hotel...Every month....Every year... except when furloughed, bankruptcy or other... for 24 years adds up to what ?
