Ok, here I am finshing college in Aug and turning 27 in June. I soloed at 19 and gave it up , thinking I didnt have what it took to becme a commerical pilot. I now know that this is what god intended me to do, all I think about is planes. Between working on my "folks from the flight deck voice", to logging on to live.atc.net for hours.

With a BA in political science from Ole MIss, my grades really blow. What regionals are hiring low time guys ,with no CFI

ps. I am so tired of proof reading my crap, so there could be a few mistakes

You sound like a class act. I'm sure the other 8 guys that didn't pass the interview the day I went would be blown away by your can-do attitude and intelligence. You deserve it, they don't.

PS. I have really bas vision, I can obtain a first class medical, but can not correct to 20/20 vision. One good eye one bad

The key to getting hired is working on your cockpit voice announcements. Low time, no CFI, NO PROBLEM. Keep practicing!!!

Ok, I may may be a little out of the loop, low time when I flew was 2000 tt,500 multi. Dont know if I have the money to do 500 hours of multi

This is a joke, right?

BTW, unless you're talking about Zeus, "god" is capitalized.
Graduated at 27 with grades that "blow" as a polysci major . . not impressive either.
Gave up flying for 8 years 'cause you couldn't "make it"? Hmmmm. Not much dedication.

With thousands of pilots out of work, I think the competition may trump you. Good luck, however.

S.C. plane crash kills Utah man
CONWAY, S.C. — A Pleasant Grove man died Monday in a plane crash near Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Ryan Bunker, 25, who was 300 flight hours shy of becoming a commercial airline pilot, was killed when his banner-towing plane stalled and crashed.
Bunker, who was days away from his Utah Valley State College graduation with a bachelor's degree in aviation science, was working as an instructor for Sky Signs of Conway. The company hires pilots to fly aerial advertising banners over the Myrtle Beach area during tourist season.
Bunker was training another pilot, 23-year-old Nick Garrett of Dalton, Ga., who was flying the plane when it went down. Garrett died on impact, but Bunker was life-flighted to the Medical University of South Carolina, where he died of internal injuries and head trauma during surgery.
The National Transportation Safety Board and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating the crash.

What's really a joke is the people who cannot get past the XJET interview. That was the easiest most laid back interview i have ever done. Nothing technical, and really the only challenging part was actually finding the correct building to show up to (yes i pulled into the wrong one at first...but hey the MX guys were real nice). ;)

Ok, so i know that really has nothing to do with the thread, but it was what i was thinking about while i read it...huh, kinda weird. And by the way, yes i did make it through, they were calling my cell phone giving me a class date before i was even out of the building that evening after my interview. By the time i reached my car and turned on my phone there was a message telling me to show up in 2 weeks for the next class...I couldn't believe it, especially since they normally waited a day or two to call you back. I guess i am just that good ;)... No, i didn't go, i upgraded to Capt here in the lear a couple weeks after that, so i figured it better to stay put.
