I can't flight instruct

I admire and thank you for your honesty. The majority of aspiring pilots are not meant for flight instructing and you have recognized this. Flight instruction is not so much being able to fly the plane, as it is to TEACH. There is a big difference. I would agree that a VFR Part 135 job is the best way for you to go, or have your parents contribute additional money and purchase you more time.

Don't instruct if you are going to give poor instruction to people paying you for quality instruction.
 
Great advice given in this thread! All I'd add is that it took me about a 100 hours of dual given to feel like I even had a clue as to what I was doing, and after about 450 hours of dual given, I'm still learning. I learn something new every day! And I'm sure there are guys out there with thousands of hours of dual given, and they are still learning too.

If you aren't learning as an instructor, then you aren't doing it right. And that's why instructing is so good for you.
