There is no way Saddom is going to fight. It would be suicide. Sure, the guy is crazy, but think of the amount of cruise missiles that will be fired at him on the first night? He knows what that is like from 1991. He is just showing his people he can stand up to America, but when it comes down to it, and a 13-0 vote in U.N. with Syria also voting yes, he will back down. I have been watching, studying, and reading everything I can find on Sadam over the last couple of months. I think he will try and stand up to Bush, as a matter of fact I think he is going to try and take out Israel. This man is out in left field and he is convinced that the U.S. will be delivered to him, he is god and what he wills happens.

Please Please Please...there is NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING worth dying for in Iraq. I agree, Saddam Hussein is a useless, worthless, horrible bag of sh!t and deserves to go, but are we the people to do it? Is it worth losing hundreds of our fine young men and women to do it? Personally, I think it would be bloody stupid to invade Iraq. If iraq poses a clear and present danger, go for it. If they can prove Saddam orchestrated 9/11, go for it. But the burden of proof is still in the eye of the beholder. I hope to God we dont take him out. It's not worth losing lives for.
However, that doesn't mean that if we do, I'm not going to support our troops. I just hope it doesn't coem to that.

Aw shucks. I forgot about that. You're right. I guess he should be able to do anything he wants since he was an ally in the past.

This is a man (I use that term loosely) that has killed hundreds of HIS OWN people, has continually ignored UN weapons inspections (which were part of his unconditional surrender in 91), has said that in his lifetime he will be the one who brings down Israel, has stated several times that Americans are infidels and should be killed with every opportunity, is KNOWN to be tied to terror organizations by giving funds to cowardly homicide bombers and do you think for one second that he would refuse to help Al Queda or any terrorist group that had the intentions of attacking the US??? Saddam has plenty of "goodies" to make 9-11 look like a nice spring day.

He needs to go. And I'm not just talking out of my ass. I have been in the Marine Corps for 6 years and I am now in the Reserve. If we go into Iraq, I will leave behind my 7 week old son and my soon to be wife. I will have to quit my first flying job that I have ever gotten. Is it worth it? YOU'RE *** **CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED****CENSORED** RIGHT IT IS. And if I never come back, my only regret will be not seing my only child grow up to be a man. I will NOT regret leaving my life on the battlefield. All my fellow Marines feel the exact same way I do. I for one want to tell you how much I appreciate your sentiment and your willingness to serve our country. I completely agree with you and most of the others on this thread that SATAN HUSSEIN must GO!

Peace is what everyone in this country wants, however, in the world that we live in today, the only way to achieve it is to be proactive. The War on Terrorism will NEVER END, and unfortunately their will ALWAYS be terrorists. The only thing we CAN do is to continue this unending war to protect the citizens of this country and our allies. Obviously, what that means is that we MUST go after those Individuals/Regimes that are Clear Threats to America and Her Allies.

I am personally INSULTED, by all of those individuals who protest this war and the proactive measures that our government must now make in order to protect our freedoms. The greatest Country in the world has been attacked and the Very Freedoms that we enjoy have now been threatened. Don't Spit on the face of the Men and Women who have fallen for the very freedoms you enjoy!

By the way, to all of our Veterans out their and all of those who currently Serve our Great Country, I want to say THANK YOU! And happy Veterans Day Early!!!
