This add for a co-pilot says nothing about flying, must be one of those guys that does everything and you just sit there. It can be found on Avcrew.com...may all he needs is an aircraft cleaner, and part secretary. I see nowhere does it refer to flying the airplane.

Citation Bravo Co-Pilot needed to assist captain in planning flights, determining fuel requirements, weight and balance, weather flying conditions, and preflight checks. Duties include arranging for fuel and catering services as directed, coordinating with captain for proper storage and protection of aircraft, maintaining current certificates and ratings applicable to performance of duties, as well as assisting in storing of baggage in the aircraft. The qualified applicant will be responsible for the cleanliness and stocking of aircraft in accordance with company policies and administering inventory control of aircraft supplies and stores. Position requires 1000 hours of total flying time and a Commercial Pilot Certificate with Multi-engine and Instrument Ratings. Must have the ability to learn new skills, assume new responsibilities, and work cooperatively in a team environment. Prefer candidate with Jet/turbine experience

the only thing more pathetic that the post is the fact that i applied for that job the second i saw it.

This job, posted for SEL, has been advertised a few times in the not so distant past. It makes me wonder if they are having a problem retaining copilots.

I applied too, like the other guy says if it sucks you just quit and move on. Some of these guys will never learn what it takes to keep people.
