I almost gave 8.3 dual today!!! I fixed that real fast. Man this week alone was like 40 hours of flying. All ready at 430TT and almost enough money to go get my multi com and ifr :):)

Just make sure you don't burn yourself out. I like instructing, but after 8.3 dual in a day I think I'd be ready to stick a hot poker in my eye. Also, I can only speak for myself here, but after about the 4th or 5th hour, the quality of the instruction that I give goes downhill quickly. So just be careful, that's all.

Does that mean you did 8.2?

CFI's aren't allowed to give more than 8 hours of instruction in a 24-hour period. I think that's what he meant.

I'm guessing he only did 7.9 or maybe 8 because, you know, if he did more than that, he'd be busting regs and I don't think he'd do that! Maybe that is what the "fixed that real fast" comment was about... it was an addition error.

I think that 2000flyer was being sarcastic.

Probably pulled a "Ferris" and ran the plane in reverse for .3 to turn the Hobbs back.

And we all know how THAT turned out...

...crashed and burned, Mav, crashed and burned. :)

Hey Tony did I tell you that my son just bought an RMX-450? I rode it the other day, one bad mofo! Strongest thumper I've ridden.

Im thinking about getting one but im so burned out on riding. Im crashing all the time, so its not to fun anymore.

Ya I had to put some new numbers in there, but im making good money now 5-8 hours a day so that puts me making 100$-200$ what is soooo badas.s from making nothing zip zilth zero. Anyway.

i did a 7.9 day once

upon landing, my fellow CFI's told me to get my skinny ass back up there for .1!

Now I figured it out, how dumb of me. The "tailend ferry" from the practice area to the airport doesn't count. That is just positioning the airplane for the next guy so it really isn't commercial flight or instructing.
