Those birdman suits are not for the faint of heart even if you have no cumulogranite near by. If you don't flare out of the track before deploying it can break your back. But yah, that suit is a lot of fun. Called "flocking" if you get a few people with them jumpingn together. You can cover some serious ground and slow your freefall a lot.
 
Pretty creative use of his scrote, seeing as he has stones the size of basketballs. Amazing.
 
That has SPECIAL OPS application written all over it.


Until now, I have never seen anything that made me feel inadequate about all the stuff I did in specwar. Wow.

But it really wouldn't have practical applications, we tend to operate at night...depth perception would be a big problem here. A military square-rig chute has a great glide ratio anyway.
