I was talking to my girlfriend about this last night, and she casually mentioned that Air Canada is involved in the merger. Is it AC itsself, or some kind of holding company?

Anybody know???

Thanks

The Wall Street Journal commented that some maintenance would be done by Air Canada in exchange for the investment. There is also talk that US Airways may be taking over all eight of Air Canada's A330's to replace US Airways ageing fleet of 767s.

Started to post, but Donger is correct. $125 million by ACE Aviation Holdings, in exchange for some heavy maintenance to be done by the merged airline at a hangar owned by AC.
