Did any of you see Howard Dean Last night during the caucus . Is he mental or what I never saw such a crazed look on any politician in my life
worse than that was when he yelled at a65 year old man to "just sit down you had your word now Im gonna talk " Sounded like some kids father punishing him Oh please let not him be my president anyone but him!!!!
 
It was funny, I was reading a mag with the TV on (sitting at Exec Beech at MCI), the news replayed his 'tirade' and I thought that the channel had been changed and WWF was on. Seriously.
 
I agree for someone who just came in 3rd that speech was carzy and out of line. The only thing I've gotten from the Dean "Campaign" is that he hates Bush and everything is Bush's fault. The Dean followers are just as crazy and as Bush hatin. Guess the crazies need someone to follow.

In the sounds bites on the news, he seems to always be harping about how he's gonna fix all the stuff that GW messed up. He's going to get the US's respect back from the world, that aparently GW made us lose. Ahh...ok...whatever. And just HOW are you going to do that Mr. Dean? Sounds like a lot of hot air to me.

You bandwagon followers need to wake up. With Dubya's policies towards cabotage, illegal immigrants being able to work in the US to eventually steal our jobs and corporate outsourcing, the Republican party is not on the side of the average American pilot. Wake up, see who stands for what and make the decision yourselves. Think for once.

Its amazing that the US miltary of which many are pilots support Bush and to tell the truth mostly Republican . Lets not forget those that weakened americas military to the point that We were attacked in our homeland
I know "illegal immigration" who was it that pardoned the puerto rican terrorists to get the hispanic vote and then gave Illegals emergency $ assistance ??
 
Today's "New York Times" reports a 10.6 percent increase in Medicare payment to HMOs being proposed by the Bush administration. In addition, the president is asking -- is expected to ask Congress to appropriate another $1 trillion for his so-called Social Security reform.

In addition, the president wants to spend another half trillion for going to Mars and the moon. This is, of course, on top of the $3 trillion in tax cuts for the wealthy, $400 billion in pharmaceutical subsidies, and $180 billion farm bill. When asked about taxpayers could afford all this, Bush said, the same way I afford everything. Daddy will pay for it.

The military didn't have anything to do with it chas. They didn’t go to a base, hijack a C-5 and run it into New York. The military or the government for that matter can't keep track of a small band of thugs 24/7. We'd have them all by now if we could. We're not trying to fight another country, we're trying to find a band of thugs that moves from country to country. And with your English I don't even think you are American so stop watching Fox for all your news and get multiple opinions. And illegals getting emergency assistance?? Wasn't there a flood or something that sparked that? It's called compassion for others in need. Making nookie with the Mexican president last week to get illegal immigrants legitimate American jobs just to get the Hispanic vote is just down right despicable.

The democrats need to get their act together - and push out the clintonian types among them. I don't see myself voting democrat anytime soon, but I wish they would make my decision harder. They make it easier all the time. To little legitimate opposition, and some of the republicans are going to let it go to their heads.

The dems are fractured right now. Hatred of Bush is not a platform. (Apologies to the crazies on this board).
 
Lets see here.....Dean, the Gov from VT who governed a state with a 99% white population, no real race issues to deal with, a state with the population less than many counties or parishs in this country who is running for president shows his butt on several occasions in a public forum should run this country? Not hardly.

I agree that Bush has not solved everyone's problems. No man can. We have a country where many want a handout 'when there are thousands of jobs available in many metro areas but they don't even apply because they will only make slightly more than their welfare check brings in. Or if they work they feel they are worth more than they are. Many believe that their blue collar job should reap white collar wages. We have parents who don't parent or guide their kids. Not one President in my life time has been the end all to everyone. If you are far left or far right you are going to be disappointed in the outcome of this election. People will vote centrist. I don't believe the Dems have a chance unless their candidate starts addressing centrist issues.

Even JFK the most popular and famous of most had his issues. He, after all, got us involved in the VN war, just to name one.

No President will be perfect. None will correct all the ills of this country or world. Bush atleast had the gonads to deal with the terrorist situation, something Clinton didn't have the reproductive organs to deal with. After all his popularity might suffer, right?
Probably didn't affect his mediocre saxaphone playing though.

This country needs a leader. Find a leader in the group of Democratic candidates and he might have a chance. Bush, with whatever faults he might have, has been that leader when it counted.

Yes, the Democratic Party is in shambles ... it is a joke, and that's very unfortunate. Capt. Tex is absolutely correct, however, what are the alternatives? We have none ... Dean is as big a nutjob as some in the present Administration. Clark and Edwards have ZERO credibility with most (waffling, lying, sacks of $hit). Gephart and those like him are part of the problem, not the solution. Who's left? We're screwed no matter who wins. :mad:

About last night ...

I thought the camera shots of Ted Kennedy's alcohol-bloated noggin were hillarious. He wasn't buying the pep rally and I respect that, but it was comical. :D

And did anyone catch Hillary Clinton? Standing ovations every time ... right along with the rest of the politicians who move on public opinion and not personal integrity. I have more respect for Ted Kennedy's attitude during the speech, even if he is a sleezebag.

What a god-awful phuking mess this county is in, and there's no White Knight riding in from either side to straighten it out, either. They're ALL corrupt, self-serving douchebags. :mad:

Tex, I've got 3 words for you: Governor Gray Davis, who is as I recall is a Democrat. This guy made it possible for illegal immigrants to not only work here but also get a drivers license in the process. Don't put that all on Bush. Not that Republicans are perfect, but the Democratic party just seems to be full of abolute hypocracy.

The only part that really pisses me off is that the Dems can't really seem to capitalize on Bush's double talk and fearmongering. Listen again to the State of the Union last night and focus on the part where he told you...again...to be afraid that al Qaeda is out to get YOU. YOU should not be comfortable.

I like Wes Clark, personally, and think he's the only Dem with a chance to fight Bush in this election. Kerry's gonna get clobbered. When it comes to nat'l security and foreign relations (which the Bush White House likes to THINK it has locked up), who would you like to have in the White House?:

1) Silver spoon, oil-slicked, rich boy that flew in the Texas National Guard (maybe he's a good pilot - I don't know)

2) Vietnam vet (although quite brave)

3) 4-star general with experience and respect overseas (he waffles a bit on domestic agenda, however, which I don't really like)

You're right. It's not a great field of Dems. However, Bush is quite the anti-patriot. Anyone who props up Ashcroft as a champion of American patriotism oughta have his head checked. This, the use of the TSA, detention without due process, USA PATRIOT Act support, the moon plan, irresponsible tax cuts, and this whacked-out immigration plan (I don't care WHAT Gray Davis did - apparently Davis is just as much of a crackhead) add up to a f*cked up next 25 years. Long after Bush is dead, we'll STILL be paying off these debts. Thanks, Georgie...

Guys, military might alone does not mean Bush is wonderful. When you alienate your friends and even manage to piss off a good chunk of the military (I know because I have spoken to a number of them), you are not a great "commander-in-chief."

If you want to vote Republican - I will never understand a pilot voting "R" when you're union employees...baffles me - go ahead. Just understand what your vote gets you - NEWS on Fox. More bombs, more deficits, more terrorist-provoking speeches. It won't make your life better. Whatever your problem, I guarantee that GWB has zero interest in solving it. Self-interest run amok...

Isn't anyone out there better than this fool???
