How to get Tilton tossed?

As an outsider looking in, it seems that Tilton has managed to singlehandedly destroy one of America's greatest airlines. He quite obviously wants to flip UAUA like a burger and has never had any intention of running an airline. It also seems he's managed to protect himself from BOD action by appointing several members himself that will be loyal to him and only him.

My question... how do employees remove a management team he11 bent on destroying the company?

Can UAL ALPA use funds to recruit a new management team, and then start a campaign with the UAUA shareholders to remove individual members of the Board... or for that matter... have the entire Board of directors replaced?

I'm tired of watching my profession being destroyed by idiot CEO's and complacent BODs. I would love nothing more than to see one of these BODs suffer a hostile takeover by the emplyees of the company... and then get back to the business of running an airline.

I was thinking along the lines of the UAL employees getting someone like Bethune onboard. Let him pick so other members of a new board, and then let him, his new board members, and the UAL employees start lobbying the shareholders to replace Tilton and gang.

This would be nothing more than having the ability to fire your CEO and BOD that have failed the company.

P.S.--Wolf also managed to kill USAir. They had been on life support for a couple of decades though. ("Life Support" in this case being a stranglehold on the East Coast and the high fares they could generate from near monopolies in the big, slot-controlled cities.)

Well, If you want to go back in the books, it was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Airlines Allegis by Mr. Richard (Moron) Ferris that started UAL on the descend. But after a guard change and most certainly after a Bankruptcy there should be an erase of the most horrific manager, I would think. UAL would still be #1 easily if We could publicly hang, or they had dignity to KILL themselves after a quarter or two of MASSIVE losses.
